Sarah Ellison is an American writer and journalist and the author of War at the Wall Street Journal: Inside the Struggle To Control an American Business Empire (ISBN 978-0547152431). She previously spent ten years as a reporter at the Wall Street Journal in Paris, London, and New York. She was famously banned from WSJ press conferences for not working on a "specific assignment", though Gawker.com speculated that her exile was motivated by the content of War at the Wall Street Journal.
Ellison lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and daughter.
